Omar Castro

Omar Castro serves as the District’s Operations and Maintenance Manager and had been in the utility industry for 30 years. He has 20 years of public and private sector experience managing potable water, recycled water, and wastewater systems. He holds a State Water Resources T5 and D5 and has served as a subject matter expert for the State Water Resources Control Board Operator Certification Program. While not working for the District he enjoys cooking, camping, and spending time with his family.
