Pleasant Valley Mutual Water Company

Formed in 1924 primarily to to supply water agricultural water to what was then known as Avocado Acres and later was renamed Camarillo Heights. The area remains mostly unincorporated. Presently all customers are residential, supplied by water from two wells filtered for iron and manganese after chlorine injection to control sulfur dioxide and clarified by ammonia injection.
